Truly-Life Pledges to the Earth Day Network
Committing to Bicycle Deliveries
ALEXANDRIA, VA, April 20, 2010 – Truly-Life, the eco friendly gift company, proudly pledges to the Earth Day Network to make bicycle and foot deliveries the standard for all local orders forever, even in bad weather.
Poor air quality and high pollution levels are real. Truly-Life has always made neighborhood deliveries by bicycle, but not during bad weather. From this point forward, the business will deliver local orders by bicycle or on foot. It is one thing that the small business can do to make a real difference in pollution levels.
“We are serious about the environment. We built our business around making a difference,” said Mellenie Runion, Owner. “Every small step can make a difference. It is not difficult to walk or bicycle our orders around the neighborhood. The Earth Day Network Pledge is our official commitment to not be lazy and drive a car when we can walk or bicycle, even when it is not convenient. I hope others will consider small changes, such as not idling in cars or to start recycling.”
